I was thinking the exact thing!! We would gladly throw in Harrison Bader and Matt Carpenter to sweeten the pot!!

I still haven't heard what the plan is for Carp. I'm glad they say Edman will be the 2nd baseman but I can't see them sitting Carp and his big salary. Surely they must know they'll have a DH, but I've not seen that announced anywhere.

Maybe he will learn to hit the ball to the opposite field in the off-season??

It would be nice for a professional baseball player to figure out how to go the other way when they absolutely dare him to do it. It ain't like he's gonna hit 50 HR's with his dead pull insistence. I liked him much better when he was a 10 HR, 50 doubles, 100 RBI guy.
