Geary Labuary has passed away.

Finished his career with 307-79 record in 34 years as a head coach. In Missouri, this places him 5th in total wins and one of just six coaches with over 300 career wins.

RIP Coach Lab

Thanks for posting this. I got to know Coach Lab way back in 1978 when I was a young assistant at Valle and he was a young HC at Windsor.

My first impression of the guy was not good on the opposing sideline...but as I got to know the guy behind that mean, intimidating snarl...I really grew to like and respect him.

One of the hardest working and most competitive Coaches I have ever known...and if you got to know him...he was a really good guy underneath that tough exterior (as long as you were not on the opposite sideline ;-)

R.I.P. Coach Lab...you touched a lot of lives and have left us way too soon.

RIP Coach Lab! Graphic Edge Guy you are correct about Coach Lab. Off the field he was a great guy, on the field he coached his team to win and expected his players best effort.

He was a head coach at Windsor H.S. in Imperial, MO, Clinton H.S. in Clinton, Ill, Albany H.S. in Albany, MO, Beloit H.S. in Beloit, KS and then moved to California Missouri to Coach for the Pintos.

He was one of six coaches with 307 wins in Missouri. He led the Pintos to three state championship games, 1997 3A State Champions, and got second place in 1998 and 1999.
