The Colquitt vs Trinity Catholic game on Saturday, August 25th, will be televised on NFHS Network at 8:00 EST!

Yawn...i'll be reviewing video of good Missouri teams that weekend.

What class would Colquitt be in Missouri? Trinity is only class two and not even the best in that class.
Since they are 7A in Georgia (2441 enrollment) their largest classification (48 teams) they would be Class 6. I'm unaware of ANY Class 6 school playing a Class 2 since expansion. There is a good reason for that. I won't be suprised in the slightest if someone is lost to injury.

If somehow Trinity won this game, oralbidome would have to be the largest tool to ever post on Mosports (no small achievement).
I believe I have the largest tool of all Mosports posters!

Lutheran North played SLUH in 2016 and lost by 3 TDs. This Fall, they're playing Class 5 Chaminade and two 6A schools from IL. Trinity's playing SLUH this Fall and another big school from OH, I think. Kids from bigger schools aren't automatically "better" than small schools anymore. The biggest advantage is roster size. Even with huge rosters, most programs only play 25 or so players. Colquitt should win but I don't expect Trinity's kids to be injured.

Northwest (Cedar Hill) played Carnahan 3 or 4 years ago, so it has happened.

Especially since the "small school" kids you're talking about are hand picked from a metro area of over 3 million people.

How do you think Carnahan, Hermann, Cuba or another small public school (that can't hand pick D1 talent) would do against a large Class 6?

Your issue is with private schools, and that's fine. You not liking private schools doesn't mean they're cheating. EVERY private school recruits kids. That's how parents often end up there. Not liking the rules isn't the same as cheating. That's my point.

What about not following the rules? Is that cheating?

What rules are private schools not following? If every private school recruits kids and that's against MSHSAA's rules, then why are private schools in Missouri able to recruit kids?

Okay.
Trinity will come out and look like a talent pool pageant.
When the ball is snapped, anywhere from 4-8 players may (or may not) actually put forth some effort. On the next snap, some of the one’s who were taking a break on the previous play may (or may not) decide to play. This decision is solely based on the whim of each member of the team. All too often, several Trinity players that do go hard on any given play may indeed run into each other. Others will watch them do it. If things are not going well, expect players to fake injuries or loaf so grotesquely getting back into their huddle there is a delay of game penalty.
Any spectator with any football background will conclude after one offensive series that there is little to no system installed. It’s just kind of backyard chuck n duck playground ball.
Colquitt County has no reason to beat their chests for a victory on this unit. Talented? Lord yes?
Imagine, if you will, the Clemson Tigers on large doses of Valium with selfish attitudes.

This is jist ME you understand BUT! Could it be POSSIBLE that these kids, given that they have the toughest schedule in ALL of MIZZZOU, would put out 110% next season?

HOW SO? Is their coach a CLOWN like the one at Bishop Sullivan in Virginia? They have FAR more big time talent than Colquitt, due to creative playa acquisitions afforded by having private school status in St. Louis metro. We're just a poor lil public school in the sticks of rural Southwest Georgia. HECK, we so po that them kids only git fed four times.....................................................a day, everyday.

But you hafta give Trinity props! They were the ONLY school in MISSOURA, that had the balls to take us on.

I would venture a guess that Colquitt has very few if any two way players. It's a quantity thing, not a quality thing.

WHAT's a two way player? My boys are two and three deep at every position, for the next four seasons. We AIN'T IMG Academy, but we try!

BUT, we're the 25th largest school in 7A. And we came within an untimed down of winning it all again last season, for the third time in four seasons.

95% of schools in Missouri had no idea there even was a Colquitt County, GA football team until your loud behind started posting here.

No doubt, because you girls OBVIOUSLY need to get out more, and see how the other half lives. FYI, the Colquitt County Packers have been in the NATIONAL top 100 all but once, for the past ten seasons! They were #2 in USA TODAY in 2014! And they were anointed National Champions in two separate polls, in 2015. LAST season, with four losses and a 7A state runners up trophy. They were ranked #46 in America, because we don't play the sisters of the poor! In the immortal words of that fine patriotic American from Georgia, Jeff Foxworthy, you girls COULD be DUMBASSES.

No...because Georgia is 8-12 hours away depending on where in Missouri you're coming from.

Most districts can't and won't justify that kind of travel expense.

There are only 5-10 schools big enough and/or good enough to justify driving 8-12 hours to play a nationally ranked school who's enrollment would make them one of the larger schools in Missouri.

Oh, and Trinity isn't one of those 5-10.
