Can you believe we're already 34 weeks into the season, folks? It seems like some of these teams just started playing last week! Plenty of intriguing tales carryover from week 33 going forward as we're just now four weeks away from the first round of playoffs. Stories include:
1. The matchup that pundits had tabbed as last week's game of the week between #2 Carnahan & #4 Vashon was inexplicably canceled with no answer as to why. Vashon maintains its #4 ranking as they remain undefeated on the year. Melbert Carnahan, on the other han', passed up a massive opportunity to place themselves with the elite football teams of Missouri. Instead, they put up a total snoozefest and drop to #3 being downgraded to Melatonin Carnahan. Will they put fans to sleep in a boring output against Roosevelt (Teddy) this week?
2. With Carnahan versus Vashon having been canceled, the story abuzz involved #10 McCluer's stunning 38-34 loss to a team known as "Carterville." The fighting comets emerged from the mineshafts east of Webb City after a fifty-four year hiatus to shock McCluer making the long, arduous trek upstate. The emergence of Carterville has led to the revival of multiple one-room schoolhouses within the Webb City school district and pollsters have taken notice. Carterville battles Herrin this week before closing out their regular season slate againstDuchense Duquesne DuQuoin next week.
3. Soldan Domestic studies continued to sneak around the city of Saint Louis as they lost 49-34 to #1 Brentwood in a crosstown matchup in a contest that Soldan refused to advertise in advance. Despite the loss, Soldan's 34 point showing was enough to bump them up to #5 in the polls, however; their continued fear of leaving their own immediate area has resulted in Soldan further being downgraded to Soldan Local Studies. This week, they traverse Debaleviere Place as they hike through Forest Park on the 5k journey to Gateway School of Meteorology.
