Maplewood is dropping football?
Wow! That is so sad. They have had success in the past. I know that they might be on a down swing, but does anyone know why they are dropping the sport? I feel bad for the community and the kids!

Is there anyway they can move the week around? To say week 7 or 9. Or would that be to tough on the schedule?

Wow! Maple wood dropping football. Seems like just 3 years ago they were a class 2 power.

Maplewood drops football!?!? Since 2004 they are 90-43 with deep playoff runs in 2007, 2008, 2009, 2010, 2011, and 2012. With the best run coming in 2010 making it all the way to the championship game and finishing 14-1. The previous two seasons have been rough, 2013 and 2014 going 2-8 but still, every school has some bad seasons. Well, unless you're Webb City. I feel bad for the kids, does anyone know why the program is being dropped? Has attendance dipped or did funding get cut?
