I am a co-admin on http://kansasfootballhistory.com/ but have lived in Missouri off and on in my life including last 7 years. I always thought Kansas and Missouri needed a historical site that lists all the schools historical football scores, head coaches and maybe even standings. Texas, Louisiana, Arkansas, Georgia, Alabama are some of the states that have sites like that. I got involved with the Kansas site when I contacted a guy who had a web page with his hometown teams history about a few errors he had listed. Turns out he runs a company that makes webpages so he offered to make and absorb cost for a page for Kansas. I have since contributed info on 450+ schools and 70+ leagues and mythical state champions. I would love for someone to start one in Missouri. I have info on a lot of SW Mo and KC area schools and leagues and a few in St Louis area and Jeff City 1950-present. I could contribute what I have and I'm still researching when I can. Right now there is no central source for info. You have to check school sites (CBC, SLUH, Blue Springs South, Branson) school media guides (Rockhurst, SLUH) or fan sites (Chillicothe - the best in my opinion, Springfield who list just W-L records and coaches) or research, contact schools, newspapers to find info. Wouldn't it be better to have one site with everything? I Thought someone from Mosports.com was going to try to start a site a few years ago but never happened. Would really like to see someone come forward to absorb cost to get a site going that all Missourian's could contribute to and would appreciate and put us on par with some of the other states and ahead of ones like Oklahoma and Michigan that only go back to early 1950s. What does everyone else think about this?
