The next repub move will be the big push to cut SS and medicare because those "entitlements" we paid for are bankrupting us, not the bloated military industrial complex nor the giant tax cut for billionaires.

But the total federal revenues have went up since the tax cuts, and have went up more as a percentage of GDP than for 20 dang years.

Problem is congress spends way to much money. I agree on the military,, no other nation has a single aircraft carrier that is Nimitz Class,,much less our new Ford class carriers,,,but we have 12 and building #13. F35 aircraft is a world class boondoggle as is the F22.

Country needs to start taking a hard look at what we are spending money on and decide if it is necessary,,,there are all kinds of projects that would be nice but if it isn’t necessary .

Like $5 Billion for funds for the border,,,just put a few hundred attack helicopters and tanks on the border and tell people if you don’t have a passport and a Visa you aren’t coming in
