He would have had to throw me out on that call too. Now the Birds have no clue which base to throw the ball to to keep the tying run and go ahead run off 2nd base and keep the DP in order.

This one hurts if we don't figure out a way to score a run. Tomorrows matchup doesn't bode well for us!!!!!!!!!!! I guess the fake bunt that Yadi got picked off on was to set up the pitcher for a HR pitch. Man our base running has to lead the league in lost runs. Is there a saber metric for that? Not sure why you run into a tag and throw DP when you're the go ahead run on 2nd base. Not sure why he was running on a ball hit to 3rd anyway unless he thought there was 2 outs. Even then you have to make them make a good throw to 1st for the out rather run into a tag. People yell at little league players for this kind of stuff.
