Washington was supposed to play Warrenton on Friday, but Warrenton had to cancel due to COVID concerns.

William Chrisman was added late and agreed to play this Thursday matchup with a 6:00 pm kickoff.

Washington led at halftime, 7-0.

Washington opened the 2nd half by recovering the (onside) kick and marched down to extend their lead to 14-0.

Chrisman responded quickly with 57-yard run on the ensuing drive to pull within a score at 14-7. Washington and Chrisman would each counter with scores to bring the score 21-14 with 8:37 left on the clock

Washington would score again as Boston would run it in from 7 yards out to send the Jays lead back to 14 at 28-14 with 5:11 remaining in the game.

Chrisman would march down the field and score on a 7 yard run (Miller) to make the score 28-21 with 3:40 remaining in the game.

Washington would cover the ensuing onside kick and recover a fumble during the drive to maintain possession and run out the clock.

Washington improves to 2-1 while Chrisman falls to 1-2.
