Thank god there are so many threads for this game. I might not have known the result, otherwise.
That was a very good game by 2 very good programs. To set up that match up on such short notice shows that both programs are very confident with their teams. great job BO and VHS
VG I might have missed one, I got to excited, LOL Don't hold it against me. The Valle defense did a great job under a lot of pressure. If they clean it up and take care of the ball, they are going to be difficult to beat.
That one hurts for BO. First regular season loss since 2014. They play tough ball down there at VC. Congratulations on big win!

I wasn't at the game but watched on FB and BO appeared gratuitous in defeat which speaks highly of their program. While covid protocol doesn't allow the handshake at end of game, Judd and BO coach shook hands and the players interacted favorably which was good to see.
No other way to be. Both teams were pushed like a play off game. One team made 1 more play to win. Great game, Great atmosphere by two great programs who always welcome a challenge. I remember when Valle scheduled Westran when they were great in the regular season.
Westran came to my mind as well. They beat us in the first game and then we beat them in the playoffs. I remember the Hunt kid and was thrilled to be rooting for him at Mizzou. I can still see him catching that pass when he was wide open. He passed up a baseball scholarship to walk on at Mizzou and eventually got a scholarship. Great story.
OMG....I have just been awarded a TROPHY...Seriously Likeable, LOL It is a good feeling when everybody gets a trophy! In the immortal words of Darren McGavin in The Christmas Story, it is a Major Award. LOL I can't wait to tell the golfing buddies this weekend.
