It was a long day, a little short of 9 hours, a little over 300 miles and 13 fields. We have figured out to not do this trips when school is still in. Had to talk our way into one school and almost had talk our way out of another school. Here is who we saw today in order.

South Harrison
Albany
Stanberry
Maryville
Nodaway Holt
South Nodaway
North Andrew
Savannah
St. Joe Christian
Stewartville
Cameron
Braymer
Southwest Livingston.

We have not been to many 8-man fields and we were a little surprised at them. Can tell they are in small towns. For it's size Albany was very nice, Maryville was a surprise for me, thought it was be much nicer and Braymer was not good.

Was a fun day and hope to have pictured loaded soon to the site, mofootballfields.com

Strange hobby.

We don't think it's strange, but curious why you think it is. It gives my son and me time to spend together.

It's actually a pretty cool hobby... And to top it off he spends time with his son, sounds like a fantastic time to me

Strange hobby.
I think it's a great hobby. I can't imagine any of my boys wanting to do this with me. This is stuff we're all interested in, but I think most of them would want to play a pick up game in a vacant field somewhere.

I think I've been to most of those schools. Not a lot of great options on that list. Still fun though.

When you gonna come down to the ole SCA conference? Got some nice facilities down here.

Great Hobby, Love it!!! Wish to do with my boys some day! Everytime i'm in a new town, i drive by and at least see the football facility!

I am not sure where the SCA is? My son has down loaded the pictures from the 12 fields he took pictures at. The Braymer pictures are not real good, but could not go down to the field.
I would like to take a minute to pat my son on the back. His quiz bowl team at Lathrop that he coaches will be in Columbia on Friday playing in the final 8. Good luck to the Mules.

South Central Association-Ava, Cabool, Houston, Mountain Grove, Mtn. View-Liberty, Salem, Thayer, and Willow Springs. East of Springfield on US 60.

i think cabool has changed their field, otherwise you would get some interesting photos of the corner of the endzone painted with a arrow on a cement wall, or the endzone going into the wood chips used for the track

We have not made it there yet. That is a long trip for us, but we will make there. Hope everyone enjoyed the new pictures.
