Due to my son having school board meeting tonight we had to change plans, so today we went west to some places we have not been and he has started loading some pictures. Not sure when he will get all loaded. Remember that we not are not just doing football fields, if the school has other fields on their site, we will try to get pictures. Here is where we went today.
Crest Ridge - football, baseball & softball
Holden - football & baseball, we had not been there
Pleasant Hill - football and softball, we had not been there
Belton - football, baseball and softball
Grandview - only got softball, needs work. Could not get to baseball, have football already
Rockhurst - football, that is all we saw, surprised it was not nicer
Center - football, we had been there before, but add pictures
University Ac. - thanks to their AD to let us in, nice school and fields, very different track
Interscholastic League/Southeast - we were surprised, nice place
St. Theresa Ac. - this is a really a very neat place. Loved turfed softball field, great uses of one field for different sports
Pembroke Hill - football only, I was kind of speechless, we did not know what was going on with the grass, it looked dead. They were watering it. Press box is small and a little different.
Lincoln Prep - football field was gone, not sure if they redoing it building something else
Central Ac. - football, no lights or press box and small seating, but field was nice
Raytown - football, we had been there before and really could not take more pictures, a lot of people on the fields. Where does Raytown play softball & baseball?
Raytown South - football, softball and baseball - nothing special about softball, but baseball field is probably best baseball field we have every seen. Football field is nice also.
St. Michaels - could only find a practice football field, where do they play games. School was very nice.
Lee's Summit Christian - Football & baseball, I will be honest, parking lot was a long way from field so I stayed in the car so Luke went down to take picture. So when you see them so will I.
We are heading out early on Friday morning, heading to the SW Missouri. We hope to see as many as we can, but long ways in one day.
One thing we noticed today that about 60% of the schools we saw was doing some type of construction.
