Just wonder if they will ever start the program. Seems strange they are a 4A school with all those boys walking around and only offer basketball. I know they say space is an issue but they easily could hold practices in the middle school cafeteria and then wrestle matches in the high school gym.

It is a shame that they can't pass a bond issue to upgrade and build new facilities... they need it worse than anyone in the county... Maybe Festus could use a good ole tornado like De Soto.... That was the best thing that ever happen to that school district!
I disagree festus has went dormant or doormat n last several years. I can remember 10 years ago festus and Farmington were select places to live with lots to do and excellent athletics. Festus has stayed the same n both and Farmington is now the best place in the country to raise family and athletics have improved thanks to festus grad pat burns and festus well is the same. Desoto now is as desirable as festus what a change. I'm glad I moved south
