Feb Job Numbers

When the jobs numbers came out many on social Media were thanking Trump and saying wait until Biden's job killing policy get in place this may be some of the last good numbers. Many of the same people blaming Biden for gas price hike....Just made me smile and chuckle how people spin things.

Try to explain to them the law of supply and demand.
Won't stick with some of our friends.

When we announce to the world that we are back to depending on foreign oil, the price went up.
It was the the Saudi's announced they were keeping their production cuts in place that prices started jumping 10 cents at a time instead of 2 or 3 cents. Up to $2.59 in P.B. Amazing how fast a production cut anywhere can make the price jump over night. We wouldn't see that oil turned in to gas at our pumps for months.

Oil prices remained elevated Monday as Saudi Arabian oil facilities were targeted by drone strikes just days after the largest crude exporting nations in the world said they would not increase output again.

Don't get me wrong I do believe some of Bidens policies could and will eventually affect oil prices, It has to because they will restrict future supply....but that ain't the case right now and won't for a few years if he can even get those polices through. Yes the construction of an Oil pipeline was shut down, but it hadn't provided one drop of oil, so it is not like you turned off current supple?
A surge in demand and limited supply is what is doing it right now. And yes I have interest in some oil wells down on Indian land in OK, We do see reports which tells us what they expect on the Oil future pricing so we know what to expect in the coming years. And they predicted no matter who was elected that Oil prices were going to come of the low and spike this summer because the Country and others are coming out of a major Pandemic were people have set at home and countries have limited supply trying to take the slake out of oil reserves. So look for travel to pick up this summer along with air travel as people who have sat at home the last year, begin to travel more.

Oil prices going up is a good thing, it means people are out doing more which is good sign that the economy is recovering.
