They will play Kennett at 3R at 2:30 Feb 2nd. Eminence plays Neelyville at 11:30 then Kennett and Campbell girls play at 1:00. Lady Raiders and Raiders play Mineral Area at 5:00 and 7:00.

SI is quick, shoot and defend well, play a full-court game, and they’re well coached. Anytime the ball goes into the post they choke the heck out of it.

It's a unique situation, combination of excellent, longtime coach with system in place plus highly skilled players who have played together their whole lives, with a very supportive community. SI will be really good in class 1 for the next 3 years at least, but this is not indicative of a larger trend. Small school kids are slowly trending away from basketball and coaches at that level rarely last long enough to even remotely get a system in place.

What is the age makeup of their roster? Do you see them hanging in with Dora or Eminence? Do they have any size?

Metro they also beat Class 4 Hillsboro by 16 points in the semis to get to Farmington.

3. Dora---------------82 students
4. South Iron-------62 students

South Iron defeated class 4 Hillsboro in the semi-finals. I'm guessing class 4 Hillsboro is the biggest class 1 win so far this season. Risco has defeated lots of class 2 schools in Southeast Missouri.
2018-19 could be the year of " over achievement " for our top class 1 high schools.
