Miller hung closer than I thought they would. They have the 3 sophomores that score 95% of their points. If they stay out of foul trouble they can be pretty good, If not they lose like they did against Diamond.
If they had anybody to go along with the 3 sophomores they would make the final four this year. They have NO ONE and will be lucky to make it out of districts. The other players that's play wouldn't see the floor on most average class 2 teams. I know that sounds harsh but it's the truth.
It seems like Miller goes from Final 4 contender one year to being worried about having enough players for a team the next. Just kind of seems unique. Anyway I was kind of surprised they lost to Diamond but if those 3 had foul trouble it makes sense.
DIamond is pretty good. They have everyone back from last year's 23 win district championship team. Miller was in really bad foul trouble though. Funny thing is Miller has like 20 girls out this year. Mostly freshman not very good though. The FG jv beat the Miller JV 64-6 if that tells you anything. They do have an 8th grade girl that should start Varsity next year.
