Does anyone else think this facebook thing sucks. I guess I'm just an old fart that doesn't understand.

How does it suck?

It's literally testing ground for the MLB to see how well streaming works, outside of their app. This game pulled in just over 2 million views. I promise you, FSMW was not pulling that many views for this same game.

It's also free.....so.... Just go watch it....for free

We would love to watch it. But 1/3 of the time there was no picture. The camera angle and maneuvering was awful. The overall quality of the presentation sucked. Have a nice day.

I want to watch a game in my easy chair in front of my big screen

Sounds like a you problem. I've had little to no issues watching, other than some small issues with the score bar.

This is not meant for those people who are considering buying a Jitterbug Phone or a Life Alert in the next 3 years. This is for a more interactive way to watch games...... That also bypasses the ridiculous media blackout's. If you would like to continue with blackout's, then be my guest. Not everyone is a fan of that

And again.... It is testing ground. There will be problems. It happens. Everyone will survive

I have a very up to date phone and watch various streaming video services on it daily along with listening to some podcasts, etc.
I am a computer guy. Today, the game, as presented, was awful.

If it's so great show it on TV too and let those that want to see it on a screen you can watch from across the room get it and not hold it in your hand. I was planning to watch the replay tonight since I wasn't home most of the day, I didn't know that wasn't going to happen.

That was my issue. Presentation sucked. And I’ve got a Vizio smart and three Roku TVs in the house. Neither support the Facebook watch app. Evidently FB made an update a few months ago and it jacked up service with a lot of streaming devices so they dropped FB app. Would be nice to see that fixed. Couldn’t even cast it on either. I don’t mind watching at all from apps and streaming. In fact, just moved to KC and that’s how I watch all Birds games now. But I like to watch them on the 65” or 40”, not my laptop or phone.

Takes me 2 seconds to connect my phone to my TV and watch. It's also helpful to have on my phone at my desk.

Screen mirror an app I can use on iPhone/vizio or roku? I figured there was a way and I just didn’t know it...I normally don’t go cheap on tvs, but couldn’t pass up the deal on the vizio. 65” 4K for less than $500 when Wally World sold the display models.

Vizio SmartConnect app might work. You can also buy an HDMI cord for your phone and connect directly to the tv. If you have Apple TV, you can mirror from that

My phone has it built into it as a standard function. My TV has a mirror source built in. So it's just quick and easy.
