I don't know what is worse, that they probably don't know who Wiesel is or they are probably holocaust deniers. Of course admin and boards don't want something up like that, it might cause some disenfranchised kids to speak up when they see these things, or that they might actually ask for rights that the "community" doesn't think they should have.

We seem to keep taking two steps backwards...
 
I have no issue with this guy getting his visit removed, he was getting paid and the school district still ended up paying him some money even though there was contract issues. He is a polarizing figure to some and has a agenda which he is entitled to have, speak and write about but giving him a paid voice in a classroom could be very divisive to parents who disagree with his agenda.
