I looked at output from Ercot's website yesterday, the 6 power plants that went offline were for regularly scheduled springtime maintenance.

what is noteworthy is that all thermal production was still running at 78% of its rated output. Solar was at almost 90% of its rated output(sunny in Texas yesterday) But Wind turbines were only producing 17% of their rated output (wind not blowing in West Texas Yesterday)

What are people nationwide going to do for energy when we are relying 100% on unreliable wind and solar??
