Yes, however we ain’t going to be able to address Climate Change with McConnell still in charge. So while the world won’t end, we sure as hell won’t make it better.

Unfortunately, we as a nation and planet are not ready or willing to see the climate change is real and a threat to civilization. History will have a regrettable view of how the industrial age of man has polluted our plant and will be viewed as mankind's greatest failure.

You may be correct.

If somehow, some way, we could convince a few generations to cut back on the baby-making, it would be enormously beneficial. The exponential growth of humans and the needs therein cause an exorbitant strain on our planet’s ecosystems.

Meanwhile, we have to find an alternative to fossil fuels for our energy needs.

If you look back over the past 500,000 years or so , there is a glacial period then a warming of the planet about every 150,000 years.

The planet is still cooler than it got at the warmest of the last two cycles (when there was zero man made global climate change) we are going to get at least as warm as we got back then and nothing we as humans can do about it. Might as well just get out the suntan oil and mix up some margaritas and enjoy the fantastic warm weather

I think we know the alternative to fossil fuels. Wind and Solar. We visited several areas of Germany and it seemed that every house had solar panels on the roof. I don't know how they were able to convince so many people to add solar.
