In the third meeting between the two schools this year, the third time was the charm for Eldon, as the Lady Mustangs upended California 67-52 on Thursday night. California had given Eldon two of their four losses on the year.
After the first quarter, Eldon led 16-11 and expanded their lead to 42-24 at the half. The Lady Pintos chipped away at the lead in the third, to cut the Eldon lead to 13 (52-39 after three).
Eldon improves to 16-4. California drops to 14-5. Lady Pintos play Owensville on Saturday at the Central Bank Shootout at Helias.
