Looking at my new Sports Illustrated, they have a column on top 10 free agents and what team may be their best fit. Cardinals have their name in the best fit category twice: Josh Donaldson at #6 and Michael Brantley at #8.

I like Pollack over Brantley, but they're pretty much a wash as for what they'd cost. And this is a route I see the Birds going, much moreso than spending Harper type money. And truthfully, I believe this is the right way.

Happy for him. Vacationed in SD years ago. Even went to a couple of Cards games vs. Padres. Beautiful ballpark, weather and area. Thanks for the info.
