Drop Kick for an Extra Point

Wondering about the rules for the drop kick for an extra point in Missouri. I think I know them but just checking. First, can you do it? I think you can and it would be worth 1 for an extra point and 3 for a field goal. And a rush is allowed. Is all of this correct? Is anyone using the drop kick or have they seen it in the last 10 years? Just curious. Also, could you drop kick the kickoff? Is this legal. I know you cannot punt it unless it is coming off of a safety.

I think if the holder bounces the football off his own helmet and the kicker kicks it backwards before it hits the ground while singing the Star Spangled Banner, a field goal is actually worth 4 points.
...but I could be wrong.

Not so fast my friend. That only applies if there is no kneeling during the singing. If kneeling you go directly to jail; you do not get the 4 points; you do not pass go and you do not collect $200.00. That's my recollection.

Several years ago Doug Flutie drop kicked an extra point for the Buffalo Bills. That's the only time I can remember somebody in the NFL doing that.

There was this one time in HS. When our big lineman, we call him tank, tried to drop kick a ball in practice. Our field was crazy muddy because is the fall in western Pennsylvania and we lived in a Steel mining town. Anyway... i digress.

Tank tried to drop kick and he missed and we laughed.

Park Hills Central attempted two drop kicks tonight. Made one, missed one.
