Gundy's boys taking a beating.
I believe that makes the conference 6-2.
(3-1 vs Top 20 teams)
Arky, Georgia, and Bama with games left.
But Alabama is the only good team....Riiiiiiight

The SEC teams were slower than other conferences to scrap the pro style attacks and institute the spread. I watched very few SEC teams use a two back set. LSU is really the only team left that hasn't changed exclusively to slinging it. Now SEC teams are beating long time spread opponents at their own game, they defend it better and they are utilizing the best athletes and fronts in the country.

How bad though is the SEC East with Florida the division winner. They were awful today and just not any good. The SEC winning teams are in the West.

The worst team in the SEC Beat an ACC division champ.

Vols 45 NW 6 (NW beat STANFORD)

Florida isn't good without Grier.

Alabama has never been huge on 2 back sets.. They use 2 and 3 TE sets, like the majority of the SEC still does. Power run game is still the basis of the offense for Bama, LSU, Mississippi State (a little more spread), Florida, Georgia, vandy, and South Carolina (to an extent)..

If you go back and watch all the bowl games, the teams that are winning are the teams that can establish the run, to open the pass. Regardless if it's a spread running attack or 2 back 2 TE..

Yeah but apparently Grier was the answer. Huge wins against Kentucky and ECU by Grier.

The worst team??? Didn't they beat MU in Columbia. I don't think the Vols are close to being the worst team in the SEC.
He's talking about South Carolina beating North Carolina. Please try to follow along (I know it's bb season).

North Carolina and Stanford lost the 1st week of the college football season. It happens. Doubt they would lose to the same teams now.
