Missouri State coach Dana Ford made Haney a scholarship offer earlier this season after seeing him perform at a high level against the team out of Oklahoma City.
Haney has announced his verbal commitment to play for the Bears in two years, as he is just a junior. Though he initially said he would wait to commit until after his next AAU season, he seems to have really fallen in love with the coaching staff and pulled this trigger.
