I hate the dumb thing. I want baseball to remain pure. I hate the DH, I hate the instant replay and I really hate the strike zone box. Total BS this box. Pretty soon we'll have strike zone controlled by this darn thing.

Got to admit - i missed the strike zone box when another channel covers the game.

Them spitters need a dang shave and haircut too. Today's baseball players are punks. I like Sal, and the rest of them thar latinos.
They play the ball the way it wuz ment to be balled
That moose characher, and that ding bat first baseman and left fielder are a bunch of little skort wearin weenies.

No wunder this generatshun is so fubar. you need a dang yeller box to know its a strike. I'll tell ya when that ump raises his arms its a durn strike and 3 of em yur out!

Hell u can't even bole over a catcher and u gotta call new york to get thar opinion. bunch hippy hipsters. that old second basemen holds that gluv on that slider after he pops up like are darn school yard girls sofball game. Perty soon u r gonna see caitlyn jenner look alikes on the ball field. baseball is now wuss ball.

And gosh durn it why cant that pitcher throw a seed up the side of them fellers that lean over that dish too far?
Gosh durn ruin of the merica

I hate umpires. Let's replace them with technology. Jackie Robinson was out at home. Denkinger blew the call. The stupid kid in NY interfered with the outfielder. So many bogus calls. Put a sensor in the ball and in the bases. Use tennis technology for fair/foul calls. Rid the world of men in blue.

Are you serious! Thems fightin words! The greatest play in baseball history would've been a foul! Do you remember the game 6 1975 Red Sox vs the Big Red Machine! Fisk waving the ball fair. I like the human error. It's part of the game.

Me too... I like it. That way the whole world knows that it WAS strike three on Bautista !
It wasn't a strike because the umpire called it a ball. GO sit on a bat. The rat that prevented the camera man from seeing the ball foul in game 6 of the 75 world series should live on. So should Dekinger. He was safe at first. Then the Royals took Andujar to the woodshed in game 7.

There wouldn't have been a game 7.
Carlton Fisk was the Red Sox hitter.
Greg Maddux would have been a .500 pitcher if we had the technology calling balls and strikes. Every ump having a different strike zone makes the result of every game in history basically invalid.

Prior to replays existence if a ball beat the runner to a base almost every ump called the runner out automatically whether a tag was made or not. Replay has made umps actually concentrate and improve.

I pretty much ignore the k-zone most of the time but I don't recall anyone complaining about the first down line being put on the screen in football games. It is the same thing. I will say I get a good chuckle when I see a ball called a strike and k-zone shows it about a foot outside.

As far as replays I think MLB is doing a very good job, especially when you compare it to the first couple years replay was used in the NFL. Some of those replay conferences took longer than halftime.

I knew that, was just testing :)
