Personally I think #7 Neosho has a decent chance of beating the #2 Raytown South.
Lower 3 classes, I see Hayti, Fayette, North Callaway and Boonville upsetting teams.
I could see that because of the physical play they have seen throughout the year.
Neosho has problems on defense but they can score. Their passing game is pretty good. They were right with Carthage and Webb city both until late in the game.
For Raytown S I think the #2 seed and 7-2 record are to some degree fools gold. None of the teams they beat are better than 2 win teams. But their defense looks better than neoshos.
So I think Neosho might be a bit better than they look on paper and RS might be worse. Doesn’t mean neosho will win but I think they have a much better chance than a 7 seed normally would. With a down Webb city and a very down Carthage this district is pretty weak.

It depends on what that means. They aren't what they were 10 years ago but are probably about where they have been for the past 5.
For 15 years or so they were putting away every team they played 42-7. A pretty normal season was either 0 or 1 loss. So yea in my opinion they are down. That doesn’t mean they aren’t good though.

This year is like 8th out of the last 10...last year was worse. Looks like post 2020, this might be the new normal.
Different class....different conference members...state mandated practices times. Webb is still webb of old...just the state has made so many rules it has brought everybody else up to them. 8 hrs of practice a week. Hell that was 2 days of webb practice during all those 1 loss undefeated seasons. Think the big difference is we havent had those qbs for 5 years. They are finally backed up again for 5-6 years so that should help.
If Webb was practicing high school kids for that long that would be the reason for the rules. This isn't D1.
Guess you run that "don't work harder than the opponent" type household. Shouldn't you be on a cali message board?
In theory, working longer hours isn't working harder.
After tonight games we have 7 5 Seeds and 3 6 Seeds with 8 games tmrw. We will not have a 7 seed make it to the district Semifinals if somehow miraculously Grandview (Hillsboro) beats lift for life tmrw.

With most 1 Seeds sitting at home this evening I’ve yet to see a 70+ point blow out, and only a few 60+ that had people fussin on here for years.
That is because the JVs went in at halftime. Multiple games where the teams had 40-60 points in the first half.
Wait till next week when #1 seeds in Class 1 play.......
Only 2 70+ I seen from last night was Pacific over Afton 71-8 and Savannah over lafayette (St Joseph) 70-6
Yea, 35-0 in 1Q for Kearney. Scoring on two play drives. This backups in at start of 2Q.
