Class 4 and 5 are going to have some great quarter final games. Class 5 is easily the most open class in the state.

Is the Staley prediction with or w/o their starting QB? Or will it matter?

Hate to be wishing my life away, but I can't wait for Friday night. There will be a lot of good games. Too bad I can't be in two places at once.

I don't think Calpreps takes that into account. I could be wrong though. Also, they are all projected at a neutral field and I think in vegas, the home field advantage is worth about 3 points

Interesting facts on the Harrisonville/Grain Valley match up. The school's have 21 previous meetings on the gridiron, with Harrisonville having won 18 of the 21 contests. Three of the meetings have been in the District Playoffs and two meetings in the State Playoffs. Harrisonville has won all five of those playoff matchups. In fact two of the years that Harrisonville won the District playoff games, Grain Valley won the regular season games. Both programs are very familiar with each other as they were members of the MRVC West from 2008-2017. It should be a very good game on Friday night.

I have seen Harrisonville (only via webcast mind you) at Kearney, vs. Excelsior and at Warrensburg twice. Especially offensively the improvement has been very noticeable so agree GV is nowhere near a lock in this one.

Harrisonville looked like they had potential to me early on, even during their opening losing streak. Seemed like the coach was getting the most out of the talent he has.
