Looks, as expected, to just be a tweak or two especially in 8-man. Of particular note at that level is Norborne is co-oping with Hardin-Central.

This next week I will go through the NWMO districts with a thought/observation or two.

Also just noticed Sacred Heart (Sedalia) went 8-man........and Greenfield is districted with the far NW schools! These new coops etc. will make this, behind the obvious favorites Stanberry and North Andrew, a much more difficult 8-man season than in recent years to figure out.

Why did they keep South Holt in District 3? That makes 6 teams. I thought Nodaway was the base team anyway. That would have evened out the district's to leave them in 2.

Also, McAuley is going to need to be put into a district.

One thing of note is that class 1-2 lost 4 schools. So that means unless somebody adds football or any of the 8-man move to 11 man some of the Class 3 and above could move down or not see any movement.

North Shelby, King City and Braymer are all moving down to 8-man next year. Greenfield has said they are moving back to 11-man. McAuley said they would like to move back to 11-man (they are still listed in 11-man, but will be playing 8-man), but made no promises and I don't expect them to. I would not be surprised to see a couple more teams drop to 8-man also as numbers dwindle. So 11-man will lose probably at least 2 more teams (net) and maybe more.
