District Admission Prices

$6 for kids seems a little ridiculous. If both the boys and girls program makes the championship game it would cost a family of 5 $180 to support their teams for all 6 games.

$11 per game to watch online is also craziness

Unfortunately, I'm not making any championship games or a family of 5, so it doesn't really affect me, it just seems a little steep for kids when we should be encouraging them to go.

While I hate MSHSAA.tv, I’d rather the games be streamed online than broadcast on a TV channel that no one can watch like Bally Sports.

You kinda forget, MSHSAA employees are pretty old and lazy. Once you resign yourself to that, the embarrassments and surprises are curbed.

Everyone realizes all the venues to host playoff games and State Championship games cost money. The admission fee I am sure goes to a lot of that. They can't pay for State Championship Site just from attendance of those games. The ones complaining are also the ones who probably have no issue paying thousands of dollars for AAU bball, travel baseball and softball, club volleyball and soccer fees. And then paying thousands of dollars in hotels, travel, food and gate fees for tourneys. Lets remember none of the club stuff can replicate HS athletics. MSHSSA has its issues, but complaining about gate fees and MSHSAA TV should probably the least of peoples concerns.
