Just like Smithville's schedule is suspect. So it CJs... big wins are limited when you don't play big time teams. It is one of the downsides of playing in SW Missouri...you don't have a host of Class 5 power teams. And we saw what happened to the Class 6 SW Mo teams last weekend...playing average KC Class 6 teams.
Uh...there are 3 teams in the MEC that would roll GV, RAY, BEL
Just like Smithville's schedule is suspect.
Maryville (MV), Chillicothe (Chil) St Joe Laffeyette (SJL), Savannah (SV) would beat, Ray, Bel, Tonk, RS, and GV. A (3) win SAV would arguably manhandle GV, Tonk, RS. (SAV), in fact, rolled Benton, Leblond, and Cameron. Barely lost or was competitive with (MV), Harrisonville, (Chil) and Grain Valley. Tonka is the Cameron of the MEC. The Blue Sub conference is not special, and the toughest games are Kearney vs PC. Both of whom were destroyed by Staley and (K) eeked out a victory over (LN) who lost to (Ray). Laffeyette, the third best team in the MEC, is better than all of the SBC teams except K, and PC. Further evidence of this is supported by the comparative scores vs. SJC and NKC. The playoffs in district 8 are pretty even in my IMO.
Ruskin, Tonka, Truman, PHS, OP, GV, could for the sake of argument join SJB, SJleb, Cameron, (SAV) and (SJL). Laffeyette would go 10-0 and SAV 9-1, 8-2.
Now, who's
prepared to play championship football remains to be seen. The forward pass was invented a long time ago, and the MEC passes it too lol. But thankfully my argument will be settled on the field.
