Il gives Lovie a contract extension after going 9-27 with the team. One of the reasons sited as to why was the young players on the roster and those committed to the school. The real crazy part is in two years Trinity players could makeup around 10% of the Il roster. I would guess very few schools have 10% of there roster from a single outside state little lone a single out of state school.

Only one Trinity kid has committed to UI. The wideout committed to texas and another player reopened his commitment after committing to UI. All of the Trinity kids will not end up there and there is not 11 D1 kids on Trinity's team.

The Trinity QB is also only going there because Illinois is letting him play QB when Alabama, Clemson, Ohio State, Texas, Oklahoma, USC, Florida State, LSU etc wants him at either WR or Corner. I think he would be a potential NFL guy if he switched positions but looking at Kyler Murray at OU he probably wants to stay at QB

Watching him in person Saturday I would of assumed IL would put him at a wr or even db. The kid can move. But his passing accuracy was a bit off.

Why are you guys being so weird and defensive about this. No one is attacking Trinity, you can put your guard down. If everyone who is undecided and currently holds an Il offer goes, there could be 11 Trinity players on the roster in 2 years. You are correct, that is unlikely but the likelihood that there will probably be 5+ is still unreal.
