Makes you think that the NFL is professional wrestling. No facemask. The ref threw the flag on what he thought was going to happen and then it didn't happen.
No face mask; all shoulder. Toward the end of the video above, you'll even see an official in the bottom left corner of the screen looking straight at the play. HE did not throw the flag; the official BEHIND the play through it (the one that couldn't even see it...)
What makes me more mad than the fact that this cost the lions the game is the fact that NO ONE in the media is talking about this; they are just clinging to the "storyline" of the Arron Rodgers TD the next play (makes for better TV I guess).

He clearly hits the facemask at the start. He does not grab it, but does contact it. Why else would his helmet be on sideways when he gets up. Yes, bad way to lose a game, but why in the world would you not send pressure so he does not have time to throw the ball?
