Dexter vs NC

I think it'll be a good game. NoCo will have to take care of the ball. Dexter is a solid team and can provide some matchup difficulties. North County will have to stop McCuin(sp?) girl and get out on shooters. Having said all of that I think NoCo will provide Dexter some match up problems as well. I don't think it'll be a blow out one way or the other.
I think NC has a great chance to win if they take care of the ball and make their open looks. Coach Arnold, Coach Brewer and Coach Kemp are great people and I would love to seem them get to the Quarterfinals.They do a great job coaching their players and they will have them ready to play.
I think the 2 assistants should move up and get a chance to coach the girls that they have worked to develop. We'll see what they do though.
I think that would be a bad choice. Coach Brewer has not had a winning season in the 4 years at NC and zero wins in 2 years as the kingston head coach. She has not really developed players under Coach Arnold. He has always taken the best underclassmen and moved them up to varsity. There is not a kid that plays any minutes on the varsity that was developed by Coach Brewer. I don't know alot about Coach Kemp other then she is young. I don't know if she is quite ready to make the move to varsity yet. I sure hope they find a good replacement and I am guessing it will be someone that is not on staff now.
Probably a mistake on my part to respond to this post. I think it is premature to talk about a replacement for the head coach who has them in a Sectional Game that is winnable and who knows after that. The story should be about the team on the floor, the current coaches and what possibilities they have. I am sure the administration will do a thorough job in hiring a suitable coach to lead this team in the future.
Anything "can" happen but the winner of the Dexter-NC game will very likely play MICDS. My "guess" is that will be the end of the line for either one and no shame in ending their season in the quarterfinal. I'm heading to Jackson this evening to watch the Potosi-ND and Dexter-NC match ups and see what happens.
