Here's the current list of Democrats (or socialists posing as Dems) who have declared they're running in 2020:

Bernie Sanders, Vermont senator

Amy Klobuchar, Minnesota senator

Cory Booker, New Jersey senator

Kamala Harris, California senator

Elizabeth Warren, Massachusetts senator

Tulsi Gabbard, Hawaii representative

Julián Castro, former Housing and Urban Development Secretary

John Delaney, former Maryland representative

Andrew Yang, entrepreneur based in Manhattan

Jay Inslee, Washington governor

John Hickenlooper, former Colorado governor

Beto O'Rourke, former Texas representative

Kirsten Gillibrand, New York senator

Joe Biden, former vice president

Pete Buttigieg, South Bend Indiana mayor

I love me some Tulsi Gabbard, but realistically this boils down to Sanders, Booker, Harris, and Biden.

Anyone but Joe has no chance against Trump. Joe is the only one not talking apocalypse and going back in time 100 years. The rust belt will reject all of them but some still trust Joe. We'll see if he can get the nomination though in todays rabid Democrat party.

Yeah that's gonna be a mess for sure. From what I've seen he may be the only one that has a chance, assuming Trump is still the guy by then. :rolleyes:

If Pelosi and the party leaders use the information about Trump in the proper manner by exposing this treasonous conman for what he is, SEVERAL of the Dems can beat Trump. But Joe Biden is a 77 year old scatter brain.

The biggest problem the Dems have is that Biden is ancient, Pelosi is 79, Hoyer is 79, Feinstein is 86. This is absolutely absurd.
In no other industry do you have people this far past their prime making important decisions. That group does not excite the
"base".
 
If only Mueller, with his team of federal agents, who worked thousands of man hours, costing the taxpayers of this country millions of dollars, and with unfettered authority to any information they desired, couldn't find anything treasonous about Trump,......... they should have asked Duck. He seems to have the info no one else does!!'

It's going to be Harris or Booker. A old white man won't be allowed to win the Democratic nomination.

Democrats hate white people in general, but especially white men.

She is a black woman. Gets to play the victim card twice as hard as Hillary ever could.

He wasnt that much older than Hillary or Trump then. He is much older than the alternatives now. The entire Dem party leadership is ancient and out of touch. Time to move on.

Plenty of the younger ones are not in sync with me or my views on many things. We'll see how it all shakes out but a big portion of the wannabes need to fall by the wayside sooner rather than later. If all therydo is beat each other for the next year we'll get no where. What does Biden want to do that YOU disagree with?

The people you agree with are what I call corporate Dems. They may as well be republicans. They are the ones who have let Pelosi convince them not to impeach a criminal. They love insurance companies.

I didn't see your answer to my question about Biden.
Pelosi hasn't decided anything yet. YOU know as it stands there is NO way pubs in the senate would vote for impeachment. Let's wait and see what comes out of the hearings and what they get from Mueller and our grand new Trump defender AG Barr.
Let's also not forget the dozen or more investigations Mueller handed off to the SDNY and DC, mostly into Trump, his family and business financial stuff. Mueller apparently didn't do anything on the financial side of this, he left that to other prosecutors. That may be where the 'legal issues' come from. If much happens there the senate may have no choice but to go along. If that comes up with nothing then there is no sense in going through the impeachment process just for show.
 
I wouldnt trust Joe with Jack Squat.
He has been on the wrong side of history
so often I cant believe anyone would vote for him. From what I have read of Joe in the Senate a lot of his stances on issues over the years his primary focus is to get people on both sides to like him. He would rather be wrong than hurt a republicans feelings.

Among dozens of things he has done/not done, he had a chance to keep Clarence Thomas' arse off the supreme court and instead allowed his cohorts to pummel Anita Hill. She passed a lie detector test, which is admissible in a hearing and he wouldnt let it in. There were other witnesses who could have corroborated her story and they werent allowed to testify.

Two words: Iraq War.

He sided with credit card companies on the bankruptcy bill and against consumers.

He was supposed to be Obama's liason to get things thru the senate. Yet he either failed or didnt really try to get a public option in the ACA which we really needed to change health care in America. Owned by corporate America.

I could go on and on.
