David Lee is from St. Louis and has a salary of about twelve million dollars per year. David graduated from Chaminade high school and played his college basketball @ Florida. David Lee has been on the bench with the Gloden State Warriors this season but that appears to be a big mistake judging from his play on Tuesday evening in Cleveland.
David Lee will see big minutes tonight and could help even the NBA championship series. The Warriors are a 2.5 point favorite tonight.
David Lee is a NBA all star who averaged 33 minutes per game before new Warrior coach Steve Kerr was named head coach. David Lee played less then 3 minutes per game this season. If I am the owner of the Gloden State Warriors, Rookie coach Steve Kerr would have some explaining to do concerning the handling of David Lee.

Well considering Golden State had the best record in the league this year by a pretty wide margin I'd say the owner was probably pretty happy with how Kerr handled the team. Some guys are struggling right now and Lee had a good few minutes. I'm sure Cleveland wasn't expecting much from him. Maybe he can help get the Warriors going tonight. Or maybe Cleveland is more aware of him and Kerr looks like the smart coach he has all year.

Don't read so much into one game, the Warriors were the best team in the NBA with him on the pine for a reason. He can't play a lick of D.

Having said that, he fits in this series, because Draymond Green looks awful, and Lee's ability to run the PNR with Curry is tremendously valuable.

David Lee should be very good for the series - the scores for both teams might go up by 10 points.

Lol,. It's been some rugged ugly basketball hasn't it! That Eastern Conference scrum ball has taken over.

Only way that happens is if the officials start blowing the whistle. And that's not going to happen. Watch the level of contact to both Curry and Thompson off the ball. It's unreal. Or to the screener on the ball, either team.

I’m a Lee fan but if he plays significant minutes and guards LaBron, James scores scores 50. Now it may take 40 shots for him to get there but he will get at least 50. Lee can score but his plu/ minus isn’t very good.

Golden State's offense looked a lot better with Lee in the game on Tuesday, and that might actually continue. He's a good play maker in the middle of the floor, can make shots, passes and get a rebound.

But his play is needed in part because several Golden State players have played dreadfully. Draymond Green, Andrew Bogus, Harrison Barnes have played as bad as you could possibly play on this kind of a stage. Barnes can't make a shot of any kind, Bogus doesn't even want to attempt a layup and Green has been a turnover and missed shot machine.

Curry has bore the brunt of criticism for Golden State's performance, and rightfully so. But those three have been a clown car to this point.

If the GS owner has anyone to be upset with in regards to Lee, it should be whoever gave him $12 million. While he's an offensive improvement in the series, that's mostly about the way the people he's replacing have played. He isn't quite the overall player he used to be, and if he plays significant minutes, I'm afraid the Cavs will eventually expose his weaknesses. He's pretty much a non factor at the defensive end.

Lee isn't guarding him. They aren't nuts.

Iggy is the #1 guy who should be on LeBron.

All of these comments reveal one thing - Cleveland has run their game plan better than GSW.

It's ugly, but a combo of:

- Slowing the game down - taking their time on O, and limiting GSW fastbreaks by not turning it over
- Getting the ball to the best player on earth
- Crashing the O boards like crazy
- Having LeBron James
- Pressuring inbound targets after made baskets to slow GSW down and get the ball in the wrong hands
- Having LeBron James
- Using pressure and physical contact to get Curry to give the ball to his bigs
- Having LeBron James

GSW needs to put more pressure on LeBron when he brings the ball up the court. Makes him work harder + gets the ball out of his hands on a team that isn't playing anyone else who can really handle the ball well. On offense, I'd like to see them use Lee more and PNR Cleveland to death. Also, again, try to make LeBron work hard defensively, since he is clearly breaking down at the end of these games.

Overall, it's not the prettiest basketball but it does make you appreciate just how good LeBron is. No one else on that team is an all-star. Mozgov, Thompson, and Shump are ok starters. JR can shoot enough to be a fine 6th man, and Dellavedova is this year's Barea. The rest of that roster is waiver-wire quality except for maybe James Jones.

It's incredible what they are doing. Both their coaches and LeBron deserve a ton of credit.

Iguodala was grabbing LeBron for all of game 3. Both sides have been getting way with a lot of physical play.

Don't worry, we have Joey Crawford tonight, we will get some ridiculous calls. Only one thing is certain - Joe has already decided which team is winning tonight.

Joey Crawford is an embarrassment to decent officials everywhere. Kind of like Joe West is to umpires. Did you see him yelling at players last night. It was comical and quite sad as the same time. It's sad that the highest level of sports don't take more pride in the quality of their officiating. I kind of think they really don't care about that as much as they do the controversies those guys create. Bad officiating gets them more publicity than good does.

I really don't understand how someone as bad as him gets these assignments.

He's not just abrasive, he scores terribly in analysis of the accuracy of his calls.
