Well, for one, we legislate for all of America, and we should make choices that reflect all of America.

Even beyond that, white Americans commit murder at a higher rate than whites in basically all other developed nations (Canada, Germany, Australia, UK, etc.)

His point is not meaningful when you put it in the context that countries with sane gun policies have white people commit fewer murders too. Our stupid gun policies make America a less safe place to live.
