I'm not a hater against the Chiefs. I have no NFL team. I just am objective and not a Chiefs fanatic.
You do get that 10 fewer receptions and 100 less yards and 10 less TDs is significantly less for a TE, right?
You do get that Tamba Hali and Ray McDonald don't play the same position, right?
Right now, Justin Houston and Aldon Smith are the same type of player. However, the Chiefs don't have a lineman near the caliber that Justin Smith was. Not even close.
You would think that if the Chiefs are so great, they might eventually win a playoff game.
LOL aint smart enough to give up are you. Ray McDonald is a DE Tamba Hali is listed as an OLB but plays solely as a DE in the CHIEFS scheme. And Uhm yes I realize the difference in 10 receptions 100 less yards and 10 less TDs. Once again you didnt read and comprehend. I gave you stats on Davis for 2009 his best year. You do realize last year was Kelcis first right?
Since you wont stop, rookie years..
Davis 10 games 20 receptions on 42 targets 265 yards 3tds
Kelci 16 games 67 receptions on 87 targets 865 yards 5tds
You do realize the difference between TEs of 47 receptions 600 yards and 2TDs is alot right..LOL
Just for..
Tony G rookie year 16 games 33 receptions on 54 targets 368 yards 2 tds
Kelci by the numbers does suck your right. If it makes you feel better Davis was built much better.
And once again you use a DE as your example... Get a pencil and a piece ofpaper and write this down so you wont forget it again..Tamba Hali and Justin Houston are the best combo of bookends in the NFL...PERIOD.
And yes one would think being this good we could win a playoff game You realize Andy and Alex have been here just two seasons right. We made the playoffs and lost to the Colts first year 45-44. Last year we had 3 allPros on D out all season and had only Bowe and Kelci as recievers going against teams like Denver with three outsanding recievers and Peyton Manning right and missed the playoffs by a game.
Smiths #s are not bad by any stretch of the imagination not glamorous but not bad.
2013 3300 yards 23 tds 7 ints and 76 carries for 431 yards
2014 3265 yards 18 tds 6 ints and 49 carries for 254 yards
KC also has the third youngest team in the NFL behind the Rams and the Jaguars at a 25.3 years of age average with Avery being the oldest at 33.
