Mt Vernon QB looked pretty dang good, and there were more than a few times they would be driving, and shoot themselves in the foot.
Lamars Biggest area I could see to work on was up front. Their speed in the backfield is one of the fastest.
Should be an intersesting couple weeks to watch them develope.

Every time he gets his chance he shows he has a grasp of the offense. I would love to see him have a year in charge to see if he could do it.
The Eagles should have a fantasticc Offense this year. Running game should be great.

Smith 16 outta 18 for 171 yards and 2 tds against Tennessee tonight in a quarter and a half. Im guessing we will be alright with him starting...

I don't think you would see much of a drop off from Chase to Alex. In fact I think you might see a spark. The dude is exactly like Soberinksi said, he's a Kyle Orton. Or maybe a Gus Ferotte. He's not going to do completely terrible but I wouldn't want him trying to take my team down in the 2 minute period. The Chiefs were at the bottom of the league in passing last year.
As for Oct. 18th. I don't think the Vikings are too scared of the Chiefs this year. They shouldn't be. They will have better players at almost every position outside of a few on defense.

And Peterson may run over more people and carry 100 times more per season to have more total yards but I don't think per carry Peterson is better than Charles. He's got the highest yards per carry in the history of the game and is an outstanding receiver. Push at best at RB. TEs-KC, DEFENSE-KC, exactly since you made the statement where or whom on Minny is better than whom plays the same position for KC?

Regardless you a Minny fan and I am a CHIEFS fan so we're not going to agree on who has the better players or team. I know we have a brutal schedule but am very excited for it to start. Our Defense was top 5 last year and never gave up 300 yards passing or a rushing TD until week 11. Very impressive then figure in getting Berry and one of the best linebackers in the game Derrick Johnson back and we are stacked on D. I think Maclin was a huge pickup. The dudes got incredible hands and is a great route runner with deep threat ability and I think Connely or Wilson will be very good as #2s. Put Kelci in with them and Alex will have plenty of weapons to throw to. Yes I still wish we had Bowe with Maclin, lol. And backups are important in this league so I'm glad we have Chase if needed. I have a lot of faith in Smith. Makes very few mistakes, has better than average running ability and now has weapons all over the field. Yes I'm a homer but I expect big things.
Alex has a field day against that epic Titans defense in an exhibition game and 3peater has Alex as a pro bowl starter and the Chiefs with homefield advantage throughout the playoffs. Deranged.

No question I think the Chiefs have a brutal brutal schedule this year. I don't think 10 is unreasonable. I love the Alex Smith can't get you to the Super Bowl. Ever watch the game, there have been s hell of a lot of QBs with much less talent then Smith to win Superbowls. Please Cow inform me as to whom has a better more explosive running game. Who you taking Demarco Murray who had over 190 more carries than Charles last year. Is our receivers as good yet to be determined. Are our bookend DEs as good, without question. Is Derrick Johnson as good as any LBer in San Fran no question. So where do you find the fall in personnel? Davis vs Kelci I still say yet to be determined Kelci is young but very talented.
The chiefs don't have as good as Aldon smith at him prime, they don't have anyone like Justin smith or Ray McDonald. They had 6 pro bowlers on that team, and that doesn't include players like Aldon smith or Ray McDonald. Only a true Chiefs homer would suggest that the Chiefs defense is anywhere near the 2013 San Francisco 49ers defense. Only a true Chiefs homer would compare Travis kelce to Vernon Davis (LOL). I mean, it's not even close.
Like I said you go blah blah blah and dont know crap. Davis had his best recieving year in his 4th season 78 catches for 965 yards. In Kelcis first year playing he had 67 for 862 yards. Just for in Davis first three years he had 103 receptions and averaged a little over 10 ypr. Kelci averaged almost 13 per.If you dont think Justin Houston is as good as Aldon Smith your nuts.

Tamba Hali in 9 seasons has 389 total tackles 170 more than McDonald and 79.5 sacks 31 more than McDonald. Get what else he hasnt had a rape charge against him...

Right now, Justin Houston and Aldon Smith are the same type of player. However, the Chiefs don't have a lineman near the caliber that Justin Smith was. Not even close.

Last year we had 3 allPros on D out all season and had only Bowe and Kelci as recievers going against teams like Denver with three outsanding recievers and Peyton Manning right and missed the playoffs by a game.
Smiths #s are not bad by any stretch of the imagination not glamorous but not bad.

2014 3265 yards 18 tds 6 ints and 49 carries for 254 yards
KC also has the third youngest team in the NFL behind the Rams and the Jaguars at a 25.3 years of age average with Avery being the oldest at 33.

I stand corrected but I did think McDonald was an OLB not a true DE. And how can I be anything but insatiable when we disagree? I will however admit the Kelci/Kelce is funny but he is gud. I dont know whats funnier me thinking McDonald was an OLB or you thinking Aldon Smith after 4 years is past his prime. Regardless Ive enjoyed the banter and do think we have a very challenging schedule. I havent looked at where it ranks but @ Houston, Denver,@ Green Bay, @ Cincinnati, Chicago,@ Minny,Pittsburgh, Detroit, @ Denver,@ San Diego is a seemingly very stout first ten games.
