SEMO has athletes and talent but does not have the size to compete with the top underclassmen in St. Louis.

Here's an example of players from SEMO and St. Louis.

St. Louis:-----------------------------------------------SEMO

1. G----Courtney Ramey 6'3"--Soph.---Webster----------------Marcedus Leach 6'4" Fr.----Poplar Bluff

2. F---Kale Catching------6'4"--Soph----CBC---------------------Fred Thatch-------6'2"----Sikeston

3. F---Wyatt Yess---------6'8"--Jr.--------Parkway West------Jeffery Porter--- Sr.6'3"--Scott County Central

4. F---Ryan Stipanovich--6'7" Jr.-------- DeSmet--------------Al Young ( Correction ) ----Sr.------?-----Cape Central

5. C-F Carte'are Gordon-6'8" Soph.---- Vianney--------------Willie Lucas ----Jr.-----6'4"--Poplar Bluff

In the rotation

6. G--Cam VanLeer---6'4"-----Pacific-----------------------------Javarcus Word

7. F-Jericole Hellums 6'6"------Chaminade

8. Towence Watson ?---------Whitfield

Semo has a few seniors--St. Louis will play without Seniors---Who wins this game.

All St. Louis underclassmen have high ceiling with D-1 offers.

Al Jackson was a great drummer, but he's been deceased for 40 years. That makes him a liability on defense.

I think you shorted the PB kids an inch, but size ain't all there it to it in basketball.

Metro-dude, out of all the kids mentioned which kid has the highest ceiling. Which one has high D1 potential or even pro (not just NBA but even overseas ) .

I believe Marcedus Leach 6'5" has the highest ceiling because of his position @ either guard position. I have not seen that much talent since Bradley Beal @ Chaminade. Where Marcedus goes from here is all up to his advisors and the decisions he makes.

I also like 6'2" Fred Thatch from Sikeston but he plays a 3 or a 4 in high school and that will not happen @ the advanced level. Courtney Ramey 6'3" and long the sophomore from Webster Groves is a little behind Marcedus on offense but is more of a complete player in high school. Courtney is big time with offers on the table. These three dudes can play.

Carte'Gordon the 6'8", 252 lbs. and growing sophomore from Vianney is one of the most talented big men in Missouri. He can dominate the post area but he thinks he's a guard which might help him as his career develops. The ceiling is high on Carte'are and the offers are on the table. The only one who can slow Carte'are down is Carter'are Gordon himself. It's men among boys if he would stay in the post.

The only pro-player in my opinion is Marcedus Leach if his progression continues but to run a high profile team of all stars, Courtney Ramey is the men @ the present.

Catching 6'4" Soph. from CBC and Wyatt Yess 6'8' Jr from Parkway West are both D-1 players.

This is just an opinion like everyone else.

Thanks metro-dude, I agree. If Gordon has 2 more inches in him, he could possibly be pro potential as well. I also heard Leech will going prep next year.

The preps are all over Carte'are Gordon as well, I sure hope Marcedus and Carte'are stay where they are. The supporting cast @ Poplar Bluff and Vianney could be a little thin to go all the way in class 5. CBC plays a national schedule and appears to be the place in St. Louis. Chaminade is on top for now but a drop off is near. Hazelwood Central and Webster appears to be the top public schools that could challenge the private schools ways in the future. Marcedus Leach sure would look good in a CBC uniform for the next 3 years and the education and the basketball coaching is second to none but I'm not recruiting for CBC, I'm just saying.

Apparently Marcedus doesn't like the home rims very well. He didn't score much over his ppg average in all 3 Showdown games put together. Lucas played pretty well.
