Stanberry junior forward Daniel Hailey recorded his 1,000th point and 500th rebound tonight against South Harrison. He is the 11th Stanberry Bulldog to reach the 1,000 point mark. Daniel is the 2nd player in Stanberry history to record 1,000 points, 500 rebounds and 150 steals in his career. The other is Terry Donovan (Class of '81), whose #32 is the only number retired by the school.
Daniel and the Bulldogs had a big week with 3 wins, all on the road and considerable drives for all of them -- Tuesday at Class 2 Princeton, Thursday at Class 3 Trenton and tonight at Class 2 South Harrison. Daniel scored 22 points against Princeton and gave the Bulldogs the win with a turnaround baseline jumper with 2 seconds left. He also recorded 17 points, 6 rebounds, 7 assists and 5 steals against Trenton last night.
Very excited to see what he and the Bulldogs do the rest of this season and next year for his senior year! The Bulldogs are 19-2 and currently ranked #5 in the latest MBCA Class 1 poll.
