Fred Thatch verbally committed to SLU today. Fred is a fine young man and has made his family, town, school and team very proud.

Fred Thatch played with the St. Louis Eagles 16 year last summer. Fred and Marcedus Leech ( Poplar Bluff ) will be with the 17 year old this summer. Cory Fraizer from Charleston, Missouri will be the head coach of the Eagles and is the " Defending AAU National Champions. Cory Frazier played basketball for the St. Louis University Bills. Is this a connection or a coincidence for SLU?

The Missouri Tigers would be wise to add Cory to their coaching staff and bring a couple of the top Eagle players with him. Kim, you must, " Strike while the iron is hot. " Contact Cory Fraizer immediately!

Back to Fred, This is a very good choice for Fred and his family. Sikeston, Missouri is less then three hours from St. Louis.

The same was said of Corey Tate. He went to Mizzou and apparently did NOT get that kind of kids and left without really giving himself much of a chance to get it going there. I doubt if Frazier would be willing to step in that role now.

There an old proverb that goes something along the lines of, "You can walk a mile and turn back at any time. Unless you walk off a cliff."

Corey Frazier isn't going to save KA in St Louis. That ship has sailed my friend, and KA and whoever is on his staff ain't bringing it back.

MU needs a fresh start in STL and with the MoKan and the Brad Beal Elite (formerly the Eagles) programs. Maybe Frazier would be a nice addition to a new staff, but adding him to KAs staff is pointless.

Mo, you are correct about Cory Fraizer being added to the Missouri staff with Kim in charge. Cory would be a good addition for Kim's replacement and I think it will happen. Kim should plead with the Missouri AD to add three more years to his contract with the understanding all basketball asst coaches will not return next year. Kim should then add one asst coach from St. Louis ( Cory Fraizer ), one top recruiter from down south or the west coast and an experienced floor coach to help Kim. None of these coaches should be " Yes Men " and should be free to express their opinions on all basketball matters.
