Congrats Reeds! The Streak is Over!!!

The Streak left with Roweton. If Roweton was still in Bolivar, it is a different story.

I think we all saw this coming. Mit. Your team might finally get a win against Bolivar. If not you better break out the brown paper sack.
It's not that bad; you'll still likely beat every other team in the small COC (it's not like Reeds ran away with it).

Hard to say that. If they are still loaded maybe Roweton is still there. It's not like Reeds Spring was not knocking on the door the past two years.

Roweton's exit had nothing to do with the caliber of players on the team. Go to www.bolivarmonews.com and search and you can read the newspaper article about it.
You are probably right and I am sorry I made the post about him at all.. it was just in response to the other Bolivar poster that acted like the game would have been different. It just seemed like he was trying to take some of the credit from our kids. No arguing the success that Lance had there and completely understand making a career choice that is the best for his family.

I'd heard that the Bolivar D is pretty down this year, especially in secondary. Really poor tackling.
I can't say that I saw this coming though with the Libs playing really well offensively against a big physical Willard team and Reeds getting thumped by Cassville. I guess it just wasn't Bolivar's night and reading the game summary it seems like some really dumb special teams decisions/mistakes.
You can't really say they don't have talent. D1 baseball pitcher is the QB and and a D1 WR in Emmert.

Did Conley Garrison not play? Weird to not see him in the box score. He's been a big threat in the passing game too.

I took no offense MoSooner. It's been a tough year for Liberator Nation. We lost Coach Roweton because of two members of the administration who just would not support him and Mage his career miserable for the last few years when he should have been celebrating. We had a huge community backlash when they threatened to discipline home for scoring too many points against Branson last year. You would think that would have been a sign to them to get on board.

The same two administrators have both either cost the school district thousands of dollars in legal fees for the cost of defense against charges of intimidation and or harassment or have been disciplined for inappropriate activities. They are still here and Coach Roweton is gone. I, and many like me, am not holding my ire back any more. We have three new members on the school board who seem to be getting things straight and I know we have good people running against some of the others next time.

We have a long history of issues dating back to the nineties here and those issues are finally being addressed. There are a lot of hurt feelings, anger and resentment.

What everyone needs to remember is that none of this is the fault of Coach Johnson or the boys who are playing. Any new coach has to feel his way through his first year or two. Liberator Nation needs to keep its ire directed at the two administrators and the school board members who are left who caused the problem and they need to keep supporting the team.

I'll probably get banned from the games for speaking my mind but I will always bleed Liberator blue!
