Quick complaint/PSA...

Are people aware that the lanes in stores function in the same way as lanes on the highway?

Was in Festus Wal-Mart (I know, wrong place to go looking for good etiquette) absolutely pissed because it's an absolute free for all. Do people not realize how much easier to get around if there's a consistent flow of traffic and not just a jumble of A-holes?

Ok psa over.

Sadly, I've been to a lot of Wal-marts in my life, and the one in Festus is the freakin busiest one I've ever seen. I almost hyperventilate in there it's so crowded.

Holy cow, that place is hell on earth. Been to a lot of WalMarts in my time and the Festus Wally is hands above the worst.

That place is depressing just to walk through.

The one that sets me off is when you have a family of ten standing in the middle of the GD isle discussing whether they want fruity pebbles or capt'n crunch with berries. Meanwhile all I want to do is grab my box of kashi granola bars on the other side of this sorry congregation.

I stopped shopping for groceries there. Wife and I started going to ALDIs. WAY better and cheaper.

Target and Walmart both seem to have as few checkouts as possible open now.

When I lived off 109/100 I did all of my shopping at Dierbergs(Dierbergs Plaza off 100). My god that place was the best. Fast checkouts. I started to go to Schnucks on Fridays when they had mini-happy hours while you were shopping.

Now with having a kid, I just want to get in and out in a hurry.

I have anger issues when it comes to Wal-Mart checkouts. Even if I have 200 items I check myself out. I am WAY faster than the pro's who look like they were forced with a stun gun to be there. And I don't blame them. If i had to deal with the people that walk through the doors of that Festus WalMart, I would want to throw myself on to HWY 55.

I find it works best to go to Dierbergs at about 9 at night on a weeknight. Almost no one in the store besides me.

Isn't this a KC/ Political Board? I hate it when people talk about the Walmart in Festus, or any other store on this board.

(See Skeeter's Football Board post.):D

Jesus created Festus walmart to punish people like me for skipping mass...
