What will Toltons schedule look like next season. The Porters gone and the recruit from Pilot Grove graduated leaving only and I say only respectfully a very talented point guard in the Wilson kid. The great 8 Shootout has to be off the schedule and thecity of palms tourney off the schedule. Will they still play Vashon, CBC, Vianney, Duchesne, Peoria Manual, Notre Dame, Blue Valley KS without the Porters? Will any local schools schedule them? That would be a heck of a schedule for a 3A team to play without the firepower they had.

Tolton is scheduled to come to Sikeston in February. Everybody in the area was looking forward to this matchup. I'm wondering if the interest around the area is still there with the Porters leaving.

Kim Anderson will be just fine...the coach from Tolton on the other hand gonna be some long years. Just curious to see the coaching ability of the returning coach of the year with the Porters gone. Might be a good coach, might be great, but time will tell and with all the sideline antics I hope he is.

Watched them play multiple times last year. I feel like they may have ran up the score on some teams they were clearly better than. I'm not trying to start the "should you run up the score vs. it's your job to stop us" discussion. But coaches, and especially fans, don't forget that kind of stuff. Wishing the best to Tolton's program, but wouldn't be surprised if some teams try to pour it on them the next couple years if they don't have the Porter brothers. Like you said, only time will tell.

Who would want to be at mizzou right now anyway? Really.. I am not anti MU, but my gosh the snowball just keeps getting bigger now with the softball team protesting. Probably started with an unhappy player not getting the right playing time. You will see quite a few turbo clocks this year...... Just not in favor of Tolton!

They haven't been in Columbia that long. Maybe five or six years. And moved quite a bit before Columbia, IIRC. Our definition of rooted seems different. 2000 miles is about 3 hrs in a boosters Leer.

I wouldn't let FFH coach our bity ball teams. Maybe let him assemble a roster though.

They've been in Columbia five years. Maybe six. I can't remember. It's not like this hasn't happened before. College coaches do this. And a good majority of them have families. It's really not uncommon. And he gets to coach college hoops, and have at least one of his sons play for him and his bestie.

I'm going to go ahead and argue both sides now. He is choosing coaching one of his sons, maybe both but unlikely, over both of his daughters. Choosing his "bestie" over family (sister-in-law, can't blame him there). On the flip side, I'm sure he is getting a nice raise as well as getting away from the turmoil at Mizzou.
