I am a college student majoring in sports management... I love the game of basketball and study it closely... I am in a wheelchair so playing able bodied basketball was never an option. However, I did play and curenetly coach wheelchair basketball... ultimitely I would love to be a high school and maybe college coach... Can anyone give me advice and does anyone in the KC area have an assustant job or be willing to talk to me?

Thanks

Ryan,

I am the Head Coach at St.Clair High School in St.Clair, MO. I know we are not even close to KC, but I will help you out any way I can. My youngest sister is a T-7 paraplegic. She was a standout HS athlete who had just signed a full scholarship to play basketball in college when she was involved in a horrible car wreck 2 yrs ago. I'm proud to say she is doing great and working hard to walk again. Someone who might also be able to help is a guy named Gary Biermann. He is the assistant coach at Sullivan HS, and happens to be in a wheelchair himself. He's been coaching for a long time and does an outstanding job.

Let me know if theres anything I can do.
