Coaches vs Cancer (Meramec) tourney seeking teams

Varsity Basketball Coaches,



The Coaches vs Cancer Holiday Tournament at Meramec is looking for 3 teams for this year's (2018) event. The tourney starts on 12/27 and finishes on 12/30. This has been the premier tourney in the St. Louis metropolitan area and it is important to our mission and to our current tournament participants to keep it that way. If you are interested in bringing your team to this tournament, please call Greg Ransom at 314-803-7473 as soon as possible. All proceeds from this event goes to the American Cancer Society to help the people we know and love win their fight against cancer and to provide the education and awareness to help others avoid cancer-causing risks.

MOsportsStaff, this is indeed one of the top high school basketball tournament in Missouri. I have enjoyed this tournament for years. Webster Groves and CBC were not in the tournament last year.

Could someone list the 13 teams in the tournament this year? Will Webster and CBC be back in December?

Kirkwood, Vianney, Lindbergh, Mehlville, Eureka, Parkway West, Troy, McCluer North, DeSmet, Marquette, Ritenour, Lafayette. Those aren't official, that's my best guess.

This list sounds pretty accurate to the last list I heard. For some reason I thought either St. Mary's or Jennings would return but would only be one of them.
