Coaches All State Question

How does a guy that averaged 20 pts a game, lead his team to over 20 wins, is the Conference MVP, get 1st Team All-District , not get selected to the Coaches All State team?? When the coach of your biggest rival is your area representative. That's exactly how.

I said this in another thread but I'll repeat it here. I typically don't get too excited about people being "snubbed", but Fred Thatch was without a doubt one of the top 10-15 players in Class 4. I've seen plenty of borderline players get omitted and usually take it for what it is....but Fred is not "borderline." And I say this as the farthest thing from a Sikeston fan I could be.

Considering how questionable the rankings were this season, I'm not surprised the All-State selection might be questionable as well.

Always going to have some players left off the all state teams every year whom could of been on it. I'm not going to be that fan who diminishes the accomplishments of the players selected even if it's one of my guys left off, I'll leave that up to you!

Actually you don't...I'm done with this thread and chatting with you about this. We obviously have different priorities when it comes to basketball
