Clever is looking for 1 team for our Varsity/JV tournament next year right after Thanksgiving, so November 26th-December 1st. This past year we did the tournament opening rounds on Monday and Tuesday night with 4 semifinal (winners and consolation bracket) games on Friday and 4 final round games on Saturday. If an out of area team were interested in coming, we would consider playing on Thursday, Friday, Saturday. It is a great field with Springfield Catholic, Hartville, Fair Grove, Mount Vernon, and Aurora returning, and we have added Springfield Hillcrest. Of those programs, in the past 5 years, Hartville has won a class 2 state championship and been to 2 other state quarterfinals, Hillcrest has finished 2nd in the state in class 4, Fair Grove has been to the state quarterfinals in class 3 twice, Springfield Catholic went to the state quarterfinals last year and return almost everyone and have been invited to the Tournament of Champions this year at Missouri State. It is a great field. The head coach gets a $50 gift card to Academy. There is a JV tournament going on at the MS on the same night that your varsity plays, but at separate times.
