I sure hope one of these things, becomes a wake-up call. This feels like coaches in the 90's were saying we are just going to play hard and foul. They can't call all of the fouls.
The thing I hate seeing is how people on both 'sides' can find a way to justify their team doing these things.
No matter what the transgression.
We are in trouble.
And the Chief Justice gets by with saying he won't testify before the committee that wants him to appear, REALLY!!!? Clarence and Ginni are nothing but hoodlums and they'll probably get away it.

I actually can see why Roberts doesn't think it is appropriate. But he better get his house in order.
I think what people are forgetting is all 9 justices voted with Roberts, this is not a partisan issue on the court this is an issue with the whole court.

Here is what I am talking about, and yes it does make me wonder and it should make you wonder it should make all of us wonder, why all judges don't want oversight, and honestly it should alarm you because these are lifetime appointments no oversight they can with a strike of a pen change our country more than any other branch of government and there is not a damn thing we the people congress or the president could do!!

I don’t know what kind of pressure Roberts or the other judges put on each other to protect/conform to their group norms.
They probably fear overzealous criticism of their every action. They obviously need ethical standards because what Thomas and his wife have done is unacceptable. I’m not sure about Roberts wife either.
