No. 40 Clayton stays in-state, becomes initial Mizzou commit for Class of 2015
July 2, 2014: Jaydin Clayton (Father Tolton Catholic, Mo.), a three-time state champion with a career undefeated high school record of 105-0, verbally committed to the University of Missouri earlier this evening. In addition to winning three state titles, he placed fourth at the Flo Nationals this past year, was a champion at the NHSCA Sophomore Nationals last year, and is a two-time Cadet National freestyle All-American.
Clayton is the initial verbal commitment for the University of Missouri recruiting Class of 2015, and projects to the 141 pound weight class in college. He ended the 2013-14 season ranked No. 18 nationally at 138 pounds, and is currently ranked No. 40 overall in the Class of 2015.
